If you follow along on my stories, you know we did a fun little “staycation” at the Iron Works Hotel here in Indianapolis. Its SO gorgeous, has every one of our favorite restaurants in the building or within walking distance, is next to the mall, AND they are dog friendly. Can I get an Amen?? Also, the decor is UNREAL, my husband was BLOWN away by the “founder’s suite” where all these pictures were taken. The suite is on the top floor and has a sprawling outdoor patio to watch sunrise and sunsets over views of Indianapolis. The dogs were treated like kings and John and I were even treated to couples’ massages in the “Massage Heights” in the building. It truly was the best staycation.
The suite is the perfect mix of industrial and modern, making it the best setting for a Nordstrom Campaign I am currently working on. Nordstrom asked me to feature some of John’s favorite styles from their men’s department, and because we had this staycation planned, I thought it would be fun to show you guys what’s in John’s overnight bag for a quick stay! I have actually had quite a few requests to do a blog post on some of my husband’s looks and favorite brands so I was stoked when Nordstrom ask me to partner up and focus on just that. Anyway, since we were just staying for the night – it was easy to do a day-to-night look using the few things he packed into a small carry-on. All pieces are from Nordstrom including the small carry-on luggage I bought in a set!
Hopefully you guys liked John’s staycation style from Nordstrom! Let me know if you want to see more posts like this or any other requests or questions regarding his style !
*** If you are interested in booking the room we had for our staycation, I just booked the suite for my best friend’s baby shower on a Sunday that it was available in September. The space is really big enough to host a brunch or shower. Would make the PERFECT day of wedding suite for both the bride and grooms parties. I could go on and on!
